PwC Belgium extends partnership with Royal Belgian Football Association for four years

Brussels, 30 may 2026 – PwC Belgium and the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) are pleased to announce the extension of their partnership agreement until 2030. As one of the official partners of the Belgian Red Devils and Belgian Red Flames, PwC will continue its support for an additional four years. The renewed collaboration underscores a shared commitment to nurturing talent, promoting inclusion, and building connections between people and communities through the power of football.

Since 2011, PwC Belgium has stood alongside the RBFA, enabling unique experiences for its people and clients. As a people-driven company, PwC values human connection deeply, even as technological advances like AI reshape its business landscape.

Under the new agreement, the partnership will see expanded initiatives. A key feature is the Flames Student Night, which aims to attract new talent to the professional services provider, PwC Belgium. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of the game while observing inclusion in action. There will also be a focus on the U21 teams to lay the foundations for the future, reflecting PwC's commitment to developing tomorrow’s leaders from today’s more junior profiles.

Patrick Boone, Chairman and Territory Senior Partner at PwC Belgium, stated: "Rallying around the same flag is an important driver for success – both for us at PwC and for the RBFA. That’s one of the reasons why our partnership with RBFA feels so natural and expresses the right energy. On top of that, we share the same ambition to let each talent grow to its ultimate potential. Being able to support the many talented Red Devils and Red Flames while inspiring our people and clients is a winning match.

"PwC is a unique partner, bringing invaluable experience and intelligence that guides us through an increasingly complex world. The information and consultancy we receive from our partner are crucial for the federation. As we embark on a new strategic direction, it is heartening to see partners who understand and support this transformation. This partnership is not only beneficial for the federation and Belgian football but also stands as a strong testament to mutual trust," said Peter Willems, CEO of the RBFA.

"The challenges are clear, the ambition is there but the path isn't, yet"
30 March 2026, Diegem - Belgian HR leaders are keenly aware of the seismic workforce shifts ahead. A new survey with Belgian HR decision makers conducted by PwC Belgium still finds critical gaps in data capability, change management, regulatory readiness, and strategic positioning are leaving organisations exposed at a time when speed of reinvention is everything. PwC Belgium’s CHRO Survey reveals a workforce transformation paradox. The will is there, but the wiring isn't. HR leaders aren't short on ambition. “The real challenge is closing the gaps and turning that ambition into results. Whether it's upgrading systems, building new skills, rethinking reward, ensuring legal compliance, or earning a stronger voice at the strategy table. The gap between what HR wants to do and what it actually delivers is where the story gets interesting”, says Axel Smits, Workforce Services Leader at PwC Belgium.
