PwC agrees to acquire Salesforce expert ABSI to further grow technology consulting in Europe

PwC and ABSI are announcing that they have entered an agreement whereby PwC will acquire 100% of the shares of ABSI. In doing so PwC strengthens its fast-growing Salesforce services. ABSI employs more than 100 people in its offices in Belgium (Brussels) and the Netherlands (Nieuwegein).

"PwC has been expanding its services in Europe for several years now. The acquisition of Human Interface Group in 2018 was also in line with the same growth strategy," says Axel Smits, Chairman of PwC Belgium. "ABSI is a well established system integrator focused on Salesforce. Their expertise is therefore particularly complementary to our consulting and digital services. We help our customers from strategy through execution, guiding and working with them throughout the entire value chain of digital transformations.”

We live in a global economy, and thanks to e-commerce and other technologies your client base is now potentially 7.6 billion people. This reality creates many opportunities, but is also a major challenge for businesses,” states Floris Ampe, Digital Services & Innovation Leader, PwC Belgium. “At PwC we work with our clients to develop their business strategies and optimise the customer experiences. ABSI brings PwC deep Salesforce expertise which will reinforce our ability to implement these strategies and develop concrete Salesforce solutions. And PwC will continue to add certified Salesforce employees to meet this growing client demand.”

“What I like most is that PwC and ABSI both add value but at different places” says Doubi Ajami, founder and CEO of ABSI. “Together we will delight our customers and make them more successful than ever. While our focus will continue to be 100% Salesforce, the power of PwC will allow us to start projects at the strategic level.  This is why PwC and ABSI match perfectly.”

Also Salesforce responds to the agreement between the two companies: “The combination of ABSI's deep Salesforce expertise with the power of PwC is great news for our customers and it is a great illustration of the Salesforce ecosystem’s vitality,” says Bob Vanstraelen, Area Vice President Benelux Salesforce.

The acquisition will be completed once the regular conditions precedent have been met, which is scheduled to be before the summer. Financial details of the transaction will not be disclosed.

AI investments and an explosion of megadeals are creating a K-shaped M&A market
Diegem, 29 January 2026 - Momentum heading into 2026 suggests that global M&A is entering a new phase, shaped less by cyclical recovery and more by structural change. In its latest Global M&A Industry Trends - Outlook 2026, PwC reports a resurgence of megadeals, combined with accelerating investment in AI and enabling infrastructure, driving higher deal values even as volumes remain muted. “This divergence highlights the emergence of a K-shaped M&A market, where activity is increasingly concentrated among large, well-capitalised buyers and select markets and sectors,” says Veronique Gilles, Partner PwC Belgium.

PwC Belgium speeds up fleet electrification and expands EV charging network
Brussels, 25 November 2025 – PwC Belgium is committed to becoming CO₂-neutral by 2030, and its vehicle fleet represents a significant share of those emissions. To accelerate this transition, PwC continues to invest heavily in electrifying its fleet by adding 723 electric vehicles to its car park and expanding its charging infrastructure. “Our ambition to become CO₂-neutral by 2030 drives every decision we make,” says Patrick Boone, Chairman, PwC Belgium. “The electrification of our fleet is a major step in reducing emissions, and we’re committed to making this transition as seamless as possible for our employees.
